Ancient Athletics is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the Scottish and Celtic culture. Founded in 1997, the unit's purpose is to help develop amateur athletes for the traditional Scottish highland strength competitions commonly called:

"The Scottish Heavy Athletics"

In addition to hosting four major highland games, Ancient Athletics participates in several cultural events and has provided high quality heavy athletic demonstrations all across the Midwest. If you have an event you would like us to provide demonstrations, please contact us.
